Day 8 – SJPP – A rest & tourist day

St Jean Pierre du Port, a walled medieval town, is steeped in history. The albergue we stayed in for two nights was built in 1580.

We ran a few errands for banking, postcards, & supplies. We mixed in some sightseeing during our foraging walk-about. We enjoyed many sights and sounds including a Basque Parade.
