Day 8 – SJPP – A rest & tourist day

St Jean Pierre du Port is a walled medieval town which is steeped in history. The albergue we stayed in for two nights was built in 1580.

We ran a few errands for banking, postcards, & supplies with sightseeing included during our walkabout we came across a Basque Parade, the origin of which we have no idea.
